When
Ann Simmons and Dixie Powers
first met, it was aboard a
transpacifc flight. Both Ann
and Dixie had experienced business
success on their own selling
everything from real estate
to designer accessories. When
they met they discovered a
mutual fascination for improving
on things and filling a niche.
What came into their acute
line of observation was what
passengers wanted in "travel
gear." Ann and Dixie saw
an opportunity and Baggallini
was born.
"We
put our 50-hour layovers in
Seoul to good use," says
Dixie. "We visited every
bag and luggage manufacturer
in the city to see what was
available in travel gear."
They spent their free time
away and at home improving
on designs, testing products,
and searching for manufacturers
who would work with them on
creating high-quality, efficiently-designed
products.
Careful
thought has gone into designing
their travel products and they
get many of their ideas by
listening to the opinions of
some of the most experienced
travellers in the world --
flight attendants. Each product
they offer is manufactured
to the highest quality standards
and is made of the best materials
available.
Many of them are available
at The Savvy Traveller. |
