Since 1967, Remin Kart-a-Bag has manufactured the
highest quality, durable telescoping luggage carts.
Each of the carts carries a limited 10 year warranty.
Kart-a-Bag was founded in 1967 by Eugene Kazmark,
Sr. after he and his wife, Lucille, took an extended
European holiday. Confronted with late arrivals and
lack of people to help move suitcases, Mr. Kazmark vowed
never to travel again without some way of rolling his
luggage.
He used his experience as a fisherman to first develop
one-rod aluminum models the parts of which screwed together
and were packaged in a shoe bag type tote. The first
two-rod, telescoping model with a folding plastic base,
the Continental 500, weighed 3.5 lbs. and carried 100
lbs. It's still in the line.
Below are two lines of Remin carts, a consumer
line designed for toting luggage and
a commercial line designed
for toting just about everything else.
FYI:
The wider the base of the cart, the more stable
the cart; the larger the wheels, the easier it
is to roll.
The wider base and larger wheels add weight (and
cost) to the cart. |
