Smart Design: Featured in Rick steves' TV shows, this bag has 2 full-length pockets, one of which is conveniently accessed from the side. Larger U-shaped openings for the upper and lower pockets provide easy access; padded grab handles and breathable mesh lumbar panel are comfortable over the long haul. Convertible: It easily converts from a smart-looking suitcase to a versatile backpack, with comfortably-curved, air mesh-lined shoulder straps, waistbelt and back panel. When you want to use it as a suitcase (or check it as luggage in "expanded" mode), the straps and waistbelt safely tuck away in the back. Handy D-rings give you the choice of adding an optional Travel Strap .

Expandable: Whenever you need more room, pull open the full-perimeter expando-zipper, and its capacity jumps to 3000 cubic inches.

Big, Strong, Practical: Constructed of rugged, water-resistant high-density polyester, it features a large 2500 cubic-inch main compartment, three handy outside pockets, a full length/width side access pocket, and a new toggle-tight mesh water bottle pocket.

Handy Extras: It includes a pair of mesh bags for smaller items, and a clip-in security pouch (which you can also clip inside your Appenzell or Civita Day Pack).
