Frank Lloyd Wright's overall concept for his buildings included the integration of the furniture and decorative objects.  Replogle globes has developed a line of globes adapted from select Wright drawings and concepts, chosen by Replogle and authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.

The base for this globe was adapted from one of several furniture designs done in the forties by Mr. Wright.  It is believed that he was working on designs for either the Usonian homes designed about that time or for his own homes, Taliesin and Taliesin West.  As there are no specific notations on the drawings, they have not been assigned to any specific project.

This globe features solid hardwood base and a copper semi-meridian.
